With the successful conclusion of the China International Machine Tool Exhibition (CIMT 2025) in Beijing in April 2025, the global machine tool industry once again focused on this pivotal platform. The exhibition not only showcased cutting-edge technologies and products but also provided industry professionals with opportunities to exchange ideas and explore future development directions.
As one of the most influential machine tool exhibitions globally, CIMT attracted numerous enterprises and professional visitors from around the world. This year’s event was grand in scale, occupying two large exhibition halls and featuring exhibits ranging from CNC machine tools to automated solutions. The exhibition zones were categorized into gear processing machine tools, metal-cutting machine tools, metal-forming machine tools, tools and accessories, and more, covering nearly the entire spectrum of the machine tool industry chain. Notably, the venue was packed with visitors, reflecting the high level of market interest and demand for advanced machine tool technologies.
At this year’s exhibition, we showcased our gear hobbing machines, which are primarily used for machining rotating components such as gears. Their working principle is based on the meshing transmission between gears, achieving precise forming through the relative motion between the hob and the workpiece. This process demands exceptional precision and stability, qualities exemplified by our gear hobbing machines.
Live demonstrations of our gear hobbing machines were conducted during the exhibition. The G200 Gear Hobbing Machine, a 6-axis high-speed model, boasts a maximum processing modulus of 6 and a maximum processing diameter of 200 mm. Its axial spur gears can achieve an effective tooth length of 300 mm, catering to a broader range of machining needs. The machine’s A-axis allows for ±45° adjustment in both left- and right-hand spiral orientations, enabling it to handle most large-helix-angle helical gears.
To further enhance machining accuracy and efficiency, our gear hobbing machines are equipped with a tool inspection system. This system monitors tool conditions in real time, promptly identifying and correcting issues that could affect machining quality.
Anticipating future market demands, the G200 incorporates multiple automation features. For example, automatic loading and unloading devices boost production efficiency by minimizing manual intervention. Meanwhile, an intelligent control system allows users to flexibly adjust machining parameters based on specific requirements, enabling smart operation.
